If you are a mountain biker, the sight of the Allgäu Alpine foothills around the Hotel Krone will make your calves tingle. Experience the heights all around you by mountain bike - whether the Bergstätt area, the marvellous panoramic trails around the Grünten or the Gunzesrieder Tal, the area around Mittag. If you're in really good shape, you might even tackle the Nagelfluh crossing to Germany's highest municipality, Balderschwang.

Racing bikepleasure

 

Get on your racing bike and off you go: To Lindau and back again. To Kleinwalsertal and back again - or via Kempten to Wertach and Oberjoch and back to the starting point via Sonthofen. If you want to discover the Allgäu by road bike: Breakfast is served from 7.00 a.m. - you have the whole day to extend your radius of action on the bike! By the way, we are very close to the Allgäu Triathlon cycling circuit.

Enjoy an e-bike ride with assistance

 

The gentle mountain ranges around Stein and Immenstadt, as well as the marvellous cycle path along the Iller, invite you to go on extended e-bike tours through the region. From our hotel, you can set off directly up to the Allgäu Mountain Farm Museum in Diepolz, on the panoramic tour to Missen and the Alpsee or along the Iller dam to Germany's southernmost municipality of Oberstdorf or to the "Allgäu metropolis" of Kempten.

The Lake Constance-Königssee cycle path, the Iller cycle path and the Allgäu cycle route all have one thing in common: they (almost) pass by our hotel door! We are also happy to accommodate you for just one night and are the ideal stage stop for your long-distance cycle tour - with a washing service for your cycling clothes and bike, a well-equipped bike workshop for minor repairs and, of course, a nice greeting to your thighs every day at the start of the tour.

If you simply enjoy cycling, you've come to the right place and are very welcome. Cycle a few kilometres over to the "Städtle" and enjoy an ice cream sundae on Immenstadt's "Piazza", the Marienplatz. Or cycle along the Illerdamm to Sonthofen without any ascent and enjoy a shopping spree or a minigolf duel. Continue along the dam via Fischen to the beautiful valleys of Oberstdorf.

We stayed at the Hotel Restaurant Krone for three days as a group of 6 people. Our weekend was planned as a racing bike weekend in the Allgäu. Arrival: The hotel is conveniently located a stone's throw outside Immenstadt. There are plenty of parking spaces right next to the hotel. Extremely friendly, competent and warm welcome at the modern reception. Due to our early arrival, the rooms were of course not yet ready, but we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel. Bike: Our weekend was planned as a racing bike weekend in the Allgäu. We had a total of 6 racing bikes with us. We were able to store them in the bike garage right next to the hotel entrance. The absolute highlight for every cyclist is the equipment in this 1st class bike garage. Not only does it consist of an open and a lockable area, but it really does contain EVERYTHING you need as a racing cyclist or mountain biker. We have personally travelled by bike in many hotels, but this equipment puts everything else in the shade - Bravo Krone Team!!!
