From the very first moment, you can feel the warmth and hospitality that make this place so special. Everything here is just right: the stylishly furnished rooms invite you to relax. The spa area (which will be even larger from 2025) is an oasis of peace and relaxation, and the food? Simply fantastic – prepared with love and always a treat for all the senses.

On arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by a beaming member of staff. Of course, we had our furry friend with us too, who was made to feel very welcome (and even got a few strokes). You can tell that the Krone isn’t just a workplace with colleagues, but a place for friends and family. Even in stressful times, there’s always a smile, and as a guest you don’t feel like a nuisance. They are wonderful people who truly care about their guests’ well-being.

Right in the heart of the Allgäu, a short distance from Kempten, Oberstdorf and Neuschwanstein, 15 minutes to the ski lift, 5 minutes to the cross-country ski trail (when there’s snow) – cycling, mountain hiking, walking, skiing, cross-country skiing, outdoor swimming pool 5 km away.
