The nearest larger town is Immenstadt, approx. 3 km away from us.

Our city bus stops directly at the hotel and takes you to the centre of Immenstadt or the train station every hour. You will also find the bus stop just a few metres away on foot at the subway, with departures to the surrounding villages, Lake Niedersonthofen or directly to the centre of Kempten.

Immenstadt train station is located on the Munich-Kempten-Lindau and Ulm-Memmingen-Oberstdorf railway lines and offers connections at least every hour. The train station itself is about 3 kilometres from our hotel and can be reached by city bus every hour (bus stop at the bus station directly at platform 1) or by taxi (taxi rank directly at the exit in the direction of the bus station).

You will find a large number of car parking spaces around our hotel. All car parks are free of charge and you are welcome to use them for the duration of your stay. Please understand that it is not possible to make a reservation.

We are happy to have your laundry washed for you. The company "Wäscheblitz" from Immenstadt is our partner for this - just let reception know. You will receive a laundry bag and everything else will be organised for you. Your laundry will be collected from us and delivered promptly. We are happy to lend you our iron and ironing board for ironing.

Stein is a small suburb of Immenstadt in the south of Bavaria, in the beautiful Oberallgäu region - surrounded by beautiful nature with mountains, forests and lakes.

If you would like to bring a dog, this is possible after consultation and availability. Please discuss your stay with your dog with us before booking - by email to info@hotel-krone-stein.de or by phone on 08323 96610!

For reasons of energy efficiency, we have dispensed with a minibar. However, during our restaurant opening hours (until 11pm) we will be happy to tap you a fresh beer or prepare other drinks for you to take to your room. Alternatively, you will find a drinks vending machine on the 3rd floor of the hotel, which is open for you around the clock.

WIFI is available free of charge throughout the hotel (except in the sauna area).

Our rooms are ready for occupancy from 3 pm.

Please vacate your room by 11 a.m., as our next guest will also be pleased to be able to move into a freshly cleaned room on time. If you wish to leave later, please contact our reception team.

Our extensive breakfast buffet with a large selection ensures a perfect start to the day:

• Filter coffee, tea, coffee specialities, hot chocolate and various juices, water and infused water

• Various cereals as well as Bircher and gourmet muesli
• Fresh whole milk and vegan alternatives
• Changing yoghurt and quark varieties
• delicious jams - also homemade -, various types of honey, chocolate spread

• scrambled eggs and soft-boiled eggs are freshly prepared for you at the buffet, our breakfast chef will be happy to prepare other egg dishes according to your wishes

• fresh breads and rolls - from classic bakery rolls to spelt rolls, there is something for everyone
• sweet pastries and various homemade cakes

You are welcome to put together your own individual breakfast from our buffet and take it to your room to enjoy there.

Our fitness area is always open. So you can work out to your heart's content and burn off energy.
Please note: Children and young people under the age of 16 are only permitted in the fitness room if accompanied by an adult.

Our textile-free spa area with bio sauna, Finnish sauna, infrared lounge and two relaxation zones is open daily from 15:00 - 22:00. We ask for your understanding that children and young people under the age of 16 are not admitted.

We are happy to lend you a cosy bathrobe for a virtual deposit of 30.00 euros. The bathrobe is available at reception.

You will find your sauna bag in your room, equipped with towels.
For reasons of sustainability, we do not use disposable bathing and spa shoes and therefore ask you to bring your own bathing shoes - this way we can help to protect the environment together.
Do you like the spa bag and would you like to take it home with you? You are welcome to purchase it at reception for 29.95 euros.

Please note that out of consideration for the peace and quiet of our guests, the spa area may only be used from the age of 16.

Our reception team is there for you every day from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. If you return later, your keycard will open our night entrance next to the garage door - not far from the main entrance on the right. If you arrive after 23:00, please contact us.

In order to be covered in the event of cancellation, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance. Cancellation free of charge is possible up to 7 days before the date of arrival. For cancellations less than 7 days we charge 80% of the room price.

Our accommodation prices include a rich breakfast buffet. We are also happy to welcome you to our à la carte restaurant, which is open daily and offers a daily changing menu.

The following means of payment are accepted at reception: EC, maestro, VISA, Mastercard and cash.

Vouchers can be orderedhere quickly and easily for immediate printing via our homepage. Of course, you can also order vouchers directly from our reception by telephone or collect them in person.

You are welcome to contact our reception before or on your arrival so that we can adapt our breakfast offer to your needs. In the restaurant you can ask our service team about intolerances and allergies at any time and we will be happy to help you together with our kitchen team.

In order to guarantee that we have a nice place for you in the restaurant, please make a table reservation through our reception.

Our kitchen is open from 11.15 am to 1.45 pm and 5.15 pm to 8.45 pm - in between we spoil you with an afternoon menu and from 8.45 pm with our evening menu.

In our restaurant you can pay in cash or by EC/credit card. If you are a guest in our hotel, you can also have your meal charged to your room and pay for everything together at the end of your stay at reception.

You are welcome to place your order at our reception. You can then collect your choice of food and/or drinks from reception and enjoy them in your room.

You can obtain a jogging map with many routes of varying duration and difficulty from reception. All routes start right outside the front door.

You can hire mountain and city bikes free of charge at the Krone. For e-bikes, we work together with an external bike hire company, who will be happy to deliver the e-bikes directly to the hotel if you book in advance (preferably before you arrive!).

In our hiking and cycling folder at reception you will find the most beautiful tours around the KRONE and in the surrounding area. We will also be happy to print out these suggestions for you.

You will find many appealing tours under Cycling holidays, Hiking holidays and Allgäu holidays. Here you can select the criteria that are important to you and the starting point of the tour. Our reception team will also be happy to give you personalised tips.

The Allgäu Walser Pass is your personal digital guest card. You will receive this at check-in for a minimum stay of 2 nights. With the digital pass, you can conveniently enjoy numerous discounts on admissions and leisure activities in the region - simply by scanning the QR code. As a guest of the KRONE, you can use the Allgäu Walser Pass for free on buses and trains - throughout the Oberallgäu and even beyond. Free travel with the Mobil Pass Allgäu is valid on public buses and local trains in the district of Oberallgäu and the city of Kempten as well as in the neighbouring bodo transport area on Lake Constance as far as Friedrichshafen, and also on buses in the Tannheimer Tal and on individual lines in the Bregenz Forest.

The KRONE is located in the centre of the Allgäu. From us you can reach most of the mountain railways, ski areas and cross-country ski trails in the Oberallgäu in just a few minutes by car (10 to 30 minutes).
