My partner and I came across this hotel on a recommendation and were simply delighted from the very first moment☺️ Beautiful rooms, very clean, super-friendly, open-minded and welcoming staff, with a lovely spa area and beautiful outdoor grounds for relaxing. The food is also excellent – both in terms of flavour and value for money! What I personally really appreciated was that they offer a gluten-free breakfast on request. A very lovely, charming yet modern hotel with a restaurant. The rooms are rather small, but perfectly adequate for just sleeping. The spa area is open from 3 pm and comes highly recommended. The staff are, without exception, friendly in a very natural way. The food in the restaurant is also highly recommended. Whatever you choose, it’s perfectly balanced and a real treat for the taste buds. Even the salads with the hotel’s own dressing are absolutely brilliant.

We stayed there during a short break. The menu and the dishes are of a very high standard, and both the food and the wine are absolutely delicious. There’s a generous, high-quality breakfast buffet. The staff are very friendly. The budget accommodation is beautifully designed, comfortable, clean and quiet, and there’s parking right by the hotel. We’d love to go back any time!

This simple yet traditional hotel is very well maintained and, like the restaurant, stands out for the friendliness and professionalism of its staff. We were only there for one night’s stay with breakfast and had a very, very delicious and exceptional meal in the restaurant that evening. The service was superbly professional (provided by the manager herself), the selection and presentation of the wines were excellent, and there were plenty of little touches to make you feel right at home. A real pleasant surprise!

The staff are really friendly, the rooms are great and the breakfast is absolutely brilliant. There’s a gym and a sauna which guests can use. The restaurant is also really good and you can enjoy a truly delicious meal there.

If you’re heading to the Oberallgäu, make sure you visit the Krone in Stein. Great cocktails and, above all, excellent food. Food and drink: excellent food, regional – but also international. We were only there for lunch, but it was absolutely delicious! Noteworthy: very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable staff in the restaurant.

Now that I’ve been there for the first time, I understand why my family travels here from Munich once a year just to eat. It all starts with that wonderful smell as you walk into the restaurant for lunch. The staff were really friendly despite the hustle and bustle, the portions weren’t too small and the food was absolutely delicious (I had the KronenTeller and that incredible chocolate cake for dessert)! On top of that, the prices were reasonable – it was like heaven... We’ll be back!

Our restaurant is open Sun–Wed from 11.15 am to 11.00 pm. Thu–Sat from 11.15 am to 12.30 am.
Our kitchen is open from 11.15 am to 10.15 pm – in the afternoon we treat you to a slightly smaller afternoon menu, and from 8.45 pm we serve our evening menu.

In our restaurant, you can pay in cash or by debit or credit card. If you are staying with us, you are also welcome to have your bill charged to your room and settle the total amount at reception at the end of your stay.

Yes. Our restaurant has a terrace which is open daily from 11.15 am to 10.00 pm. Reservations cannot be made for the terrace; seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Yes. Between the main meal times, we offer an afternoon menu from 1.45 pm to 5.15 pm, featuring a small selection of hot and cold dishes, as well as cakes and ice cream. After 8.45 pm, there is also a small evening menu with hot and cold dishes.

Yes. Our à la carte restaurant is also open to guests who are not staying with us. We recommend booking a table, as the restaurant is very popular.

Yes. For family celebrations, anniversaries or corporate events, we have versatile function rooms available that can accommodate social gatherings, festive dinners or buffets.

Yes, our restaurant is family-friendly and warmly welcomes guests of all ages. We have a dedicated children’s menu with suitable dishes for children. A particular favourite: children under 2 years old get our Spätzle for free. We also have plenty of high chairs available to ensure families feel completely at home with us. Whilst we don’t have a dedicated children’s play area, the nearest public playground is only about a minute’s walk away.

We don’t have a traditional hotel bar. Instead, we offer a varied drinks menu featuring alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, long drinks, spirits and other speciality drinks. You can enjoy these at your leisure in our restaurant or in the cosy hotel lobby.

Yes, our restaurant terrace is covered and offers pleasant shelter from direct sunlight. However, the terrace remains closed in the event of rain or unsettled weather. In that case, we’d be delighted to welcome you to our cosy indoor dining area.

No, our restaurant does not have a regular closing day and is open for business during its usual opening hours, even on public holidays. The only exceptions are 23 and 24 December – our restaurant is closed on both of these days every year.
