The Krone is situated right in the heart of this wonderful corner of the world. From here, you can discover the most beautiful aspects of the Allgäu – whether it’s the charming scenery of green meadows, traditional farmhouses and grazing cows, the open spaces of the river valleys, or the wild and mysterious landscapes along streams, ravines and forests. 

The mountains reveal their rugged side, whilst nature shows its gentle, restful side. Nordic walking routes and jogging trails start right outside the hotel door. For hiking enthusiasts, the Allgäu Hiking Trilogy offers a variety of routes, whilst fitness enthusiasts can try out sections of the Allgäu Triathlon. Mountain hiking, alpine tours, climbing or walks around the Kleiner and Großer Alpsee – anyone who wishes can combine hikes with other activities: water skiing, sailing, paragliding, a forest adventure course or a summer toboggan run.
