With spikes and runners through the Allgäu

Snowshoeing in the Allgäu - unspoilt natural landscape - beautiful views

We would be happy to advise you on a guided snowshoe tour. If you are already familiar with snowshoes, we would like to recommend the tour from Diepolz to the Hauchenberg. The "Alpkönigblick" is the absolute highlight of the tour: the wooden viewing tower was erected on the Hauchenberg and offers a magnificent panoramic view from the Zugspitze over the Allgäu Alps to the Säntis in the Illertal valley.

Tobogganing - a winter pleasure

Numerous toboggan runs are available for children in and around Stein. Ask us at reception - we are sure to have an insider tip for your child! If you have forgotten your toboggan at home, you are welcome to borrow one from us free of charge.

Snowshoe hiking

If you already have snowshoes and are fit to judge snow and avalanche conditions: go for it! If you are a beginner, you will find a large number of snowshoe hire shops and mountain schools in the Oberallgäu that will take you on your first snowshoe hiking tour. Information is available at reception!
